In 2009, these two friends created a game, based on RubyDung (a personal project of Notch) and Infiniminer, an open source game. It quickly bacame a massive hit, with more than 100 million downloads across all platforms at this time! In fact, the only game bought more than Minecraft was Tetris, with 500 million purchases.
They live in Sweden. The company of Mojang was sold to Microsoft in 2014, making Notch and Jeb very rich. Jeb continues to work on the game, but Notch left the company, for personal reasons.
